How do you engage students in discovering a museum collection while they are in the classroom? How about a Carmen Sandiego-like adventure around the world? This was the Musée de la Gaspésie’s goal when it came to CREO. The idea was to design a mobile, digital mediation tool that could be easily taken into classrooms and engage students. The class gets a visit from an explorer, who asks the students to help her solve mysteries in order to find precious museum objects.
