To get young people interested in genomics careers, Génome Québec chose a game-based digital approach. CREO produced an interactive quest housed in the GAME FOR SCIENCE virtual world, where a likeable community of garden gnomes has been struck by a strange illness. Students must use their deductive powers and lab equipment to extract DNA and solve the mystery of Genomia island. Successfully completing this quest gives players access to a new adventure: a scientific escape game. CREO played a leadership role, producing one of the very first educational online escape games.
