In the Fermont tourist information office, the "ArcelorMittal interactive zone" introduces the public to the world of mining, an inseparable part of the region. Visitors can familiarize themselves with the different types of minerals found at the Mont Wright mine, and learn more about the many jobs in the mining sector. In a fun game, visitors can activate simulated dynamite sticks to set off a blast. The ArcelorMittal zone also pays tribute to Nitassinan, the ancestral territory of the Innu and a boreal vastness they have occupied for over 8,000 years. ArcelorMittal commissioned CREO for the design and turnkey production of this interactive zone in the very heart of the town of Fermont.
