Indigenous Relations for Elementary School Students is a resource underpinning the Ontario curriculum. It integrates the views, traditions, values and cultures of the First Nations, Metis and Inuit into the social studies framework programs at the elementary school middle cycle level (grades 4 to 6). Through seven videos, a young facilitator introduces students to the views of various members of Indigenous and Franco-Ontarian communities on their ways of life, history, spirituality, relationships to others and their futures. A teacher’s guide proposes various classroom activities to do after viewing the videos.
